Endurance sports, parties and conferences

Lindenbaum celebrates the Ironman Steffen Haak and the success of Ralf Nikolai at the Las Vegas ”Six Tunnels to Hoover Dam Half Marathon” with a Hawaiian flavour, and visits the “Telespan” conference in the USA.
Lindenbaum celebrates:
Lindenbaum GmbH supported the Karlsruhe-based scientist Steffen Haak, a postgraduate at the Forschungszentrum für Informatik (FZI), during the latest Ironman world championships in Hawaii. Steffen Haak finished fifth in his age class. The occasion was marked with a special Hawaii-themed party, where MaiTais, Hawaii pizza, rice-pineapple cakes and, of course, alcohol-free cocktails were on the menu. Through his own presentation, Steffen Haak was able to give the assembled audience a genuine impression of just how challenging such an event is.
Lindenbaum runs:
Sport remains a hot topic at Lindenbaum. If we don’t have an Ironman participant to sponsor, then we just go out running ourselves: Ralf Nikolai combined a business trip to Las Vegas with victory in his age class during the Las Vegas ”Six Tunnels to Hoover Dam Half Marathon”. Further information on the marathon can be found at: las-vegas.competitor.com
Lindenbaum confers:
The original reason for Ralf Nikolais‘ trip to Las Vegas was, however, the Telespan Workshop. This well-established event provides a two-day long networking platform for the old hands of the teleconferencing sector. The organizers, Elliot and Shirley Gold of TeleSpan Publishing, constitute an archive of the industry: they have been writing their newsletter since May 1981. More information can be found at www.telespan.com.
